Vintage Porcelain Enamel Fire Sign, Burning Telephone Graphic, Bulgarian Collectible

Shipping to United States: $29.13

Fantastic original vintage porcelain enamel fire-safety sign from Bulgaria, dating approximately from the 1960s–1970s.

The Bulgarian inscription reads:

“ПРИ ПОЖАР СЪОБЩЕТЕ НА ТЕЛЕФОН 216”
“In case of fire, call 216.”

The bold red and black lettering combined with the graphic of a classic rotary telephone surrounded by flames gives the sign a striking mid-century industrial look.

Made from enamel-coated metal, it has survived with wonderful authentic character. There are visible chips, surface marks and signs of age, especially around the edges and mounting holes, all consistent with its original use.

A great collectable piece for lovers of vintage enamel signs, industrial décor, fire brigade memorabilia, Eastern European design, socialist-era graphics, or old telephone advertising and signage.

Please examine all photos carefully, as they form part of the description and show the exact vintage condition of the sign.
