Educational Vintage Plaster Model for Dental Medicine

A fascinating vintage dental teaching model showing a cross-section of the human jaw, teeth, roots, nerves, blood vessels, and several stages of dental disease.

The anatomical relief is hand-painted and attached to a turquoise rectangular backing board. Different teeth are sectioned to reveal their internal structure, while one tooth displays a large cavity. It was originally produced as an educational aid for teaching dentistry and human anatomy.

The model is freestanding and is not designed for wall mounting. It can be displayed on a shelf, desk, cabinet, or suitable stand. Today, it would make a distinctive decoration for a dental practice, medical office, classroom, cabinet of curiosities, or collection of vintage scientific models.

The piece is in authentic used vintage condition, with visible marks, discolouration, scratches, paint loss, small chips, and other traces of age. Please examine all photographs carefully for its exact condition.
