Vintage Anthropology Plaster Bust of a Pithecanthropus
Amazing one-of-a-kind vintage plaster bust of a Pithecanthropus or the Java man (Homo erectus erectus) - a hominid of the genus Homo estimated to be 700 000 - 2 000 000 years old. The bust is made in Bulgaria and was used for educational purposes in a university. On the bust, itself is engraved ПИТЕКАНТРОП in Cyrillic which means Pithecanthropus.
The plaster bust is a beautiful decoration piece that can be a thoughtful and original present for people in the sphere of anthropology and evolutionary biology,
It is in a good state with some chips and scratches. The bust is 33 cm high, 25 cm deep, and 30 cm wide. It weighs 4.5 kg.
