Amazing one-of-a-kind vintage plaster bust of a Pithecanthropus or the Java man (Homo erectus erectus) - a hominid of the genus Homo estimated to be 700 000 - 2 000 000 years old. The bust is made in Bulgaria and was used for educational purposes in a university. On the bust, itself is engraved ПИТЕКАНТРОП in Cyrillic which means Pithecanthropus.
