Vintage Red Romanian Handmade Painted Chest

A beautiful vintage wooden chest originating from rural Romania, featuring traditional hand-painted floral decoration in rich blue, green, red and ochre tones.

The chest is handmade from solid wood and has a wonderfully decorative folk-art character. Its painted panels and bold red make it a striking piece that works beautifully as rustic storage, a decorative trunk, blanket box or statement piece in a farmhouse-inspired interior.

The chest has been restored and is in very good vintage condition. The hinges have been replaced to ensure proper use, while the original character and aged appearance of the wood and painted decoration have been preserved.

Dimensions:
55 cm wide

27.5 cm high

A charming piece of Romanian folk furniture with plenty of character, ideal for collectors of traditional European interiors, painted furniture and authentic rural decor.
