Vintage Laboratory Voltmeter from 1961 – Wooden Electrical Measuring Instrument

A fascinating vintage voltmeter dating from 1961, originally made for measuring the electrical potential difference between two points in a circuit.

The instrument has a sturdy wooden body with glass panels that reveal its internal mechanism. Its large, clearly printed voltage scale, moving needle, metal components, and two original electrical terminals give it a wonderfully graphic scientific appearance.

The voltmeter retains its original manufacturer’s plate, which includes the production date of 1961. It is in good vintage condition, with scratches, marks, discolouration, and other traces consistent with its age and former use.

A distinctive collectable for anyone interested in vintage laboratory equipment, electrical engineering, scientific instruments, or educational objects. It would also make an unusual display piece for a study, office, workshop, classroom, or industrial interior.

The voltmeter has not been professionally calibrated or tested for measuring accuracy and is therefore offered as a collectable and decorative object.
