This small porcelain enamel warning sign could be from a lab, factory, or hospital. It was used in contaminated areas where workers had to wear a full protective suit. The sign is a vintage, collectible piece. It is in a good state and can be used as decoration. These signs were widely used here in the communist era. They are made of pressed steel covered with a thick porcelain enamel coating. This technic for making signs is not used today anymore, because it proved unhealthy for the workers, but it produced beautiful high-quality signs at the time.
