Impressive large-scale West German ceramic vase/jug, model 490-40, produced in the 1960s–1970s.
This striking piece features a rounded, almost amphora-like body with a sculptural handle and rich relief decoration. The surface combines soft light blue glaze with deep cobalt floral motifs and a central raised flower medallion in earthy brown tones. The textured bands at the neck and base add further visual depth.
A bold and decorative statement piece — ideal for collectors of West German pottery or for interiors that appreciate expressive mid-century ceramics.
