A fantastic and unusual vintage driving-school traffic light model, made in Hannover, Germany by Werner Degener Lehrmittel GmbH.
Dating from the 1990s, this educational model was designed for use in driving schools to demonstrate traffic-light sequences and road situations during lessons.
The traffic light itself is made of metal and mounted on a tall metal post with a Bakelite base/control unit. The original Werner Degener manufacturer's label is still present on the front. The switches on the base operate the different lights, and the model is wired and in working condition.
It has a wonderful industrial and educational appearance and would make an excellent piece for a collection of vintage driving-school equipment, automobilia, traffic memorabilia, German teaching aids, or industrial objects.
The model shows normal signs of age and previous educational use, including small scratches, marks and wear. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
