Large Scheurich 487-47 Relief Vase

An impressive and unusually large Scheurich Keramik vase, model 487-47, produced in West Germany during the 1970s.

This striking piece features bold high-relief floral decoration — large sculptural red blossoms set against a deep green ground. The glossy glaze enhances the dimensional petals and ornate detailing, giving the vase a strong visual presence from every angle.

The form is substantial and architectural, with a structured neck and integrated handle, characteristic of Scheurich’s more decorative lines of the period.
