This is a rare and beautifully preserved early 20th-century cacao tin box from the period of the Bulgarian Kingdom. The box is marked “Пъевъ” (Puev) and features Cyrillic lettering reading какао, шоколад, non plus ultra. It was used to store cacao or chocolate products and is an excellent example of Bulgarian advertising design from the pre-World War II era.
The tin has a lovely aged patina with traces of rust and wear consistent with its age, giving it an authentic vintage character. The front bears the distinctive Puev logo — a house with a watermill — framed by decorative Art Nouveau-inspired details in soft blue and cream tones.
A wonderful collectible piece for lovers of antique tins, Balkan history, or early 1900s packaging design. Perfect for display in a kitchen, café, or vintage collection.
