Vintage Wooden Pinocchio Doll – Made in Italy – with Soviet Buratino Badge – 1960s–1970s

This beautiful vintage wooden Pinocchio doll was handcrafted in Italy around the 1960s–1970s. Made of solid wood and painted in cheerful red, green, and black, it captures the timeless charm of the beloved Italian character.

What makes this piece truly special is the unexpected pairing — we found it wearing an original Soviet-era Buratino badge, and we decided to keep it that way. The badge shows the Russian version of Pinocchio, with the inscription “Первый раз в 1-й класс” (“First time in 1st grade”) and “Букварь 75.”

Together, they tell a wonderful story — Italian craftsmanship meets Eastern European childhood nostalgia. A charming and symbolic blend of two worlds in one vintage toy.
