Vintage Hungarian Military First Aid Box, Metal Medical Case with Red Cross

This is a rare vintage Hungarian military first aid box, marked “II. SZ. MENTŐDOBOZ” (Second Type Rescue Box).
Made in Hungary during the socialist era, this sturdy metal case was part of the official army and civil defense equipment. It features a red cross symbol on the front and retains its authentic utilitarian character.

Crafted from durable aluminum alloy, the box opens to reveal a clean, spacious interior with the original paper label still partially attached to the lid. The handles and clasps are in working condition, showing normal signs of age and use consistent with its history.

A wonderful collectible for lovers of military, medical, or industrial design — also perfect as a decorative storage box or vintage display piece.
