Large Vintage Hungarian Dough Bowl

A beautiful vintage Hungarian dough bowl, hand-carved from a single piece of solid wood.
This traditional trough, known locally as a “kenyérvájó” or bread bowl, was once used for kneading and rising dough in rural kitchens across Central and Eastern Europe.

The bowl has a rich patina and visible tool marks that tell its story. It shows a natural crack and a few old woodworm holes (treated), adding to its authentic, timeworn charm.
Perfect as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or rustic display vessel in a farmhouse-style interior.
