Vintage Bulgarian School Poster – Sugar Beet (Захарно цвекло)

A beautiful vintage Bulgarian school poster illustrating the sugar beet plant (Захарно цвекло) in detailed botanical style. Printed by София-Прес, this chart was used in classrooms during the late 1970s–1980s to teach plant biology. The artwork shows the full plant, its flowering stems, root structure, cross-section, and seed forms — all rendered in rich colours typical of Eastern European educational charts.

The poster has lovely natural tones and a classic matte surface. It carries visible signs of age some creases, small tears at the edges, a torn corner, and some light discoloration — all consistent with decades of school use. Despite the wear, the illustration remains bright, clear, and visually striking.
