A rare set of three vintage aluminium sock molds from a Hungarian textile factory, each in a different size and shape. These molds were used in the hosiery manufacturing process for shaping and drying socks after knitting. They carry original factory markings in Hungarian such as “Senza Akrilát” (without acrylic) and the manufacturer stamp “III. Gépgyár – Tiszaújváros / Tisza Cipőipari Vállalat”, indicating they were produced by Hungarian industrial equipment makers.
Based on the materials, typography and production style, these molds date from the 1970s–1980s, during the peak of Hungary’s state-run textile and shoe industry. They are beautifully made, fully aluminium, and have an impressive, sculptural silhouette.
Their industrial patina, scratches, and factory wear make them perfect decorative pieces with authentic character.

Mold 2: 82 cm
Mold 3: 90 cm
