Vintage Bulgarian School Eye Model

A wonderful vintage anatomical model of the human eye, used in Bulgarian schools for biology lessons. This classic educational piece features a hand-painted eyeball that opens to reveal the internal structure, including the retina, optic nerve, lens, and vascular system. The model stands on a solid wooden base (12 cm in diameter) with its original black finish.

This type of model was widely produced for Bulgarian classrooms in the 1960s–1970s, recognisable by its sculptural style, colour palette, and characteristic wooden stand.
