A striking vintage industrial aluminium factory plaque dating from 1974, originally used in a diesel locomotive manufacturing plant in Eastern Europe.
The plaque was produced for the Vzor factory for diesel locomotives named after the October Revolution, located in Voroshilovgrad (today Luhansk). Plates like this were typically mounted on machinery or equipment as identification signs in heavy industry.
The piece is made entirely of solid aluminium with raised lettering, giving it a strong industrial appearance and beautiful sculptural quality. Over time,e the metal has developed an authentic patina that highlights its age and original factory use.
Today, such plaques are appreciated as genuine examples of 20th-century industrial history and make striking decorative pieces in loft interiors, studios, workshops, offices, or industrial-style spaces.
A rare and authentic vintage industrial artefact from the 1970s machinery industry.
