Vintage Jung Koch Quentell Ant School Poster

Large vintage Jung-Koch-Quentell educational school poster illustrating the life cycle of the red wood ant (“Rode bosmier”). An original German pull-down biology chart printed by Lehrmittelverlag Hagemann, Düsseldorf in 1974, based on the famous Jung Koch scientific illustrations.

This beautifully detailed classroom chart shows ants, eggs, larvae, anatomy details, and underground nest structures with exceptional artistic quality and scientific precision. The warm earth tones and striking composition make it not only an educational piece, but also a fantastic decorative object for interiors, studios, libraries, curiosity cabinets, or natural history collections.

The poster retains its original black hanging bars and original paper label. A highly decorative and collectible mid-century science chart with strong visual impact thanks to its large format.

Good vintage condition with traces of age and classroom use. Minor edge wear, small tears, creases, and light signs of handling can be seen consistent with age. Colors remain rich and vibrant and the chart displays beautifully.
