Vintage Romanian Biology School Poster "Modifications of the Cell Membrane"

A beautiful vintage Romanian educational school poster illustrating different forms and types of cell nuclei (“Forme și Tipuri de Nuclei”). This scientific wall chart was produced for Romanian classrooms and used as a teaching aid in biology lessons, likely during the socialist period of the 1970s–1980s.

The poster displays detailed illustrations of various cellular nuclei from different organisms, accompanied by Romanian scientific labels. It was issued under the authority of the Romanian Ministry of Education (“Ministerul Învățământului”) and was designed as part of a series of didactic materials used in schools. The lower corner bears the mark DIDACTICA, a well-known Romanian state publisher and producer of educational materials during the communist era.

Unlike earlier paper charts, this example is made of plastic/vinyl, making it more durable for everyday classroom use. These posters were typically hung in schools, laboratories, and universities, where they were exposed to decades of use, which gives them today an authentic vintage scientific character.
