Vintage 19th Century Ritual Bread Stamp (Prosfora) – Hand-Carved Wooden Orthodox Bread Seal

A beautiful and authentic 19th-century Bulgarian ritual bread stamp (prosfora seal), hand-carved from a single piece of hardwood and traditionally used to imprint sacred bread prepared for the Eastern Orthodox Church.

This remarkable folk-art piece features a deeply carved geometric composition with traditional Christian motifs and symbolic inscriptions. The intricate central design, surrounded by decorative carved elements, reflects the craftsmanship of rural Bulgarian woodcarvers and the importance of ritual bread in Orthodox religious traditions.
