Large Vintage Strela USSR Wall Clock – Soviet Industrial Factory Clock

Impressively large vintage Soviet industrial wall clock dating from 1986.

This is an authentic USSR secondary electric clock, originally designed to operate as part of a centralised factory, institutional or public-building timekeeping system. The original model is ВЧС1-М2ПВ24Р-400-302К, with the original manufacturer's stamp and 1986 production date still visible on the back.

These clocks were connected to a master clock system rather than operating independently — a type of installation commonly used in Soviet industrial and institutional buildings. Documentation for this model confirms that it was manufactured specifically as a secondary electric indicating clock.

The clock retains its wonderful original Strela / Стрела dial, bold black numerals, hands and substantial metal housing.

For practical everyday use, the original electrical mechanism has been replaced with a new battery-operated quartz mechanism. The clock is now fully working and can be used as a normal wall clock without any special electrical installation.
