Pair of Vintage Hungarian Industrial Desk Lamps, 1970s Adjustable Workshop Lights

Fantastic pair of original Hungarian industrial workshop lamps dating from the 1970s.

These heavy-duty metal lamps were designed as practical work lights for workshops, factories and industrial environments. They have a beautifully functional design, with curved metal stems, substantial mounting bases and large adjustable shades.

Both lamps are designed to be mounted directly onto a table, workbench or desk. The bases have original mounting holes, allowing them to be securely fixed to the surface.

The lamp shades can be adjusted at the joint, allowing the light to be directed where needed. The curved stems give the lamps their distinctive industrial silhouette.

Both lamps have been professionally rewired by a qualified electrician and are ready for use. Each lamp is fitted with approximately 1.5 m / 59 in of electrical cable and has its own on/off button.

The original dark brown finish has been preserved. There are numerous scratches, chips, marks, areas of paint loss and surface wear from decades of genuine workshop use. We have intentionally left this patina untouched, as it gives the lamps their authentic industrial character.

They look fantastic together and would work beautifully on a large desk, workbench, reception counter or as matching bedside/side-table lighting in an industrial interior.

This listing is for the pair – 2 lamps are included.

Measurements – each lamp approximately:

Height: 50 cm / 19.7 in
Shade diameter: 18 cm / 7.1 in
Cable length: 150 cm / 59 in

Due to their adjustable construction, the overall height and position can vary slightly.

Condition:
Good authentic vintage industrial condition. Both lamps show considerable cosmetic wear consistent with their age and original working environment, including scratches, chipped paint, marks, oxidation and surface wear. Please examine all photographs carefully.

The electrical wiring has been professionally replaced. Both lamps have been tested and are working.
