Vintage Farmhouse 5 kg Kitchen Scale

A charming vintage mechanical kitchen scale made in Russia, with a wonderful aged turquoise finish and plenty of authentic patina.

The scale has a sturdy metal body, a large round weighing plate and an original dial marked in Russian. The face includes the inscription “For home use”, reinforcing its original domestic purpose.

The scale measures up to 5 kg and retains its original mechanical mechanism. It is still functional, although as with any vintage measuring instrument, it should be considered primarily a collectable and decorative piece rather than a precision modern scale.

Its worn paint, aged dial and naturally weathered surface give it a strong retro character, making it a great piece for a farmhouse kitchen, café, shop display, vintage interior or collection of Soviet-era household objects.

Condition

Good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use, including:

surface rust and patina
scratches and paint loss
staining and discolouration to the dial
wear to the metal weighing plate

These imperfections are consistent with its age and add to its authentic vintage appearance. Please examine the photographs carefully for the exact condition.
