Antique Burroughs Adding Machine, Vintage Mechanical Calculator circa 1925–1930

Wonderful antique Burroughs mechanical adding machine, made in the USA by the Burroughs Adding Machine Company of Detroit, Michigan.

This substantial old office machine features rows of numbered keys, a hand-operated crank, and its original paper roll mechanism. The worn black finish, exposed metal, green keyboard panel, and aged lettering give it an authentic early office and industrial appearance.

A fantastic collectable for lovers of vintage office equipment, mechanical machines, accounting history, industrial decor, or unusual antiques. It would make an impressive display piece in an office, study, shop, restaurant, hotel, or industrial-style interior.

The machine shows considerable signs of age and use, including surface wear, scratches, oxidation, paint loss, discolouration, and patina. These details are part of its original character and can be seen in the photographs.

The machine is sold as a vintage decorative/collectible item. Its calculating mechanism has not been fully tested, so functionality is not guaranteed.
