Vintage Theatre Spotlight on Original Stand 1978, Bulgarian Stage Light

Spectacular vintage Bulgarian theatre spotlight from 1978, preserved together with its original adjustable metal tripod stand.

Originally made as professional theatrical lighting equipment, this large industrial spotlight has a fantastic sculptural appearance and now makes a striking floor lamp or statement piece for an industrial, loft, studio or eclectic interior.

The metal housing retains its original grey finish, large front glass lens and protective wire grid. The spotlight can be tilted and adjusted on its original mounting bracket.

An especially interesting feature is the internal focusing mechanism: the bulb and reflector/mirror can be moved closer to or farther away from the front glass, changing the position of the light within the projector.

The original tripod stand is also adjustable in height. Even at its lowest position, the complete lamp measures approximately 190 cm / 74.8 in high, making it a substantial and impressive piece.

The electrical system has been professionally rewired for continued use. It takes a standard E27 bulb and operates at 220V.

Please note: there is no on/off switch on the lamp. It is switched on and off by connecting or disconnecting it from the power supply, or it can be used with a suitable external switched socket.

Condition

Good authentic vintage condition with visible signs of its former professional use.

The metal housing and stand show scratches, marks, surface wear, oxidation and areas of paint loss consistent with their age and history. The original industrial finish has been preserved rather than restored.

The adjustment mechanisms are functional, including the positioning of the spotlight, stand height and internal bulb/reflector assembly.

Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.

This is an original piece of Bulgarian theatrical equipment, not a modern reproduction or newly made industrial-style lamp.

Shipping

Because of its size, the spotlight and original stand can be carefully packed and shipped in two separate parcels.
