Antique Wooden Orthodox Iconostasis, Rustic Home Icon Shrine

A beautiful old wooden Orthodox iconostasis, traditionally used in a household prayer corner for displaying religious icons.

This charming piece of traditional craftsmanship features a rectangular wooden structure with a distinctive decorative carved element across the lower section. Its simple construction, weathered wood, and naturally aged patina give it an authentic rustic appearance.

Home iconostases were an important part of Orthodox Christian households, providing a dedicated space for family icons, prayer, and religious devotion.

The piece retains its original, unrestored appearance with visible traces of age and use, including scratches, stains, small holes, and imperfections in the wood. There is some damage and missing wood to one corner of the back panel, as shown in the photographs.

Perfect for collectors of Orthodox religious antiques, traditional folk art, and rustic ecclesiastical objects, or for use in a home prayer corner.
