Rare USSR Ship Wall Lamp – Soviet Naval Cabin Light with Filter – Adjustable Industrial Maritime Lighting

An extraordinary and unusual vintage industrial wall lamp from the former Soviet Union, originally designed for maritime use aboard ships.

This unusual Soviet maritime lamp was designed for wall mounting, with a cleverly engineered articulated arm that allows horizontal, side-to-side adjustment rather than conventional vertical movement.

The arm features multiple pivoting joints with tightening knobs, allowing the lamp to swing sideways and be positioned precisely where light is needed.

The lamp is photographed in a vertical position on a separate stand for presentation purposes only. In its intended wall-mounted orientation, the articulated arm extends horizontally and swings from side to side.

The lamp is finished in a beautiful pale cream color, with a compact, rounded metal shade and an integrated optical filter assembly inside.

One of its most interesting features is the built-in light filter, making it a particularly fascinating example of specialized maritime lighting.

The shade also features its own integrated switch, with Cyrillic markings on the metal switch plate.

With its unusual proportions, technical appearance, and authentic industrial patina, this lamp makes a remarkable decorative and functional statement.

Perfect for maritime collections, industrial lofts, vintage-inspired interiors, architect's studios, or as a distinctive wall-mounted reading or task light.
