Vintage Soviet Military Wooden Chest, USSR Army Equipment Storage Box

Authentic vintage Soviet military wooden storage chest dating from 1986, featuring original olive-green paint, Cyrillic military markings, and a wonderfully aged appearance.

This sturdy wooden box was originally used for storing and transporting military equipment. The front displays its original Soviet identification markings, including "РГД-5" and "УЗРГМ".

The original stenciled markings also include the year 1986, making this an interesting surviving piece of Cold War military history.

The chest features reinforced wooden construction, a hinged lid, metal fittings, a front locking clasp, and two internal compartments separated by a wooden divider.

Inside the lid, the original paper inventory label is still attached, adding to its authenticity and historical character.

The original military-green paint has developed a beautiful patina over the decades, with scratches, worn edges, and areas of exposed natural wood.

Today, this chest makes an unusual storage box, collectible military artifact, or distinctive industrial-style decoration. It would look wonderful in a military collection, workshop, vintage interior, or curiosity cabinet.
