Vintage Soviet Majak Crystal Desk Clock – 1960s–70s – USSR Mechanical 11 Jewels Clock

Beautiful vintage Soviet mechanical desk clock made by Majak (Маяк), a well-known Soviet clock brand, most likely dating from the 1960s–1970s.

This impressive clock features a thick, beautifully faceted crystal-glass body with geometric cuts that reflect the light from every angle. The circular clock is mounted on two elegant chrome-colored metal supports, resting on a glossy black base.

The dark chocolate-brown dial is decorated with contrasting gold-colored Arabic numerals and elegant hands, giving the clock a distinctive mid-century appearance with strong Art Deco influences.

The dial is marked "Majak – 11 Jewels – Made in USSR", indicating its Soviet manufacture and traditional mechanical movement.

Majak clocks of this design were manufactured in the Soviet Union and were known for their substantial construction and decorative appearance. The 11-jewel mechanical movement was designed for regular manual winding, with examples of this type typically offering approximately a week of running time from one full winding.
