Original mid-20th-century industrial transport case manufactured for Sertilec, a Paris-based technical company located at 3, Boulevard de la Villette, Paris 10e.
The case retains its original metal identification plate displaying the company name, historic Paris address and telephone number. The typography and old telephone format place it most likely between the mid-1950s and early 1970s.
This was not a travel suitcase but a professional transport case used to store technical components — most likely electrical, cable, or installation equipment.
A strong and authentic piece of French industrial history.
