Factory Enamel Sign, Porcelain Enamel Sign 'Protective Wear"

This small porcelain enamel warning sign could be from a lab, factory or hospital. It was used in contaminated areas that workers had to wear a full protective suit. The sign is a vintage, collectible piece. It is in a good state and can be used as decoration. These signs were widely used here in the communist era. They are made of pressed steel covered with thick porcelain enamel coating. This technic for making signs in not used today anymore, because it proved unhealthy for the workers, but it produced beautiful high-quality signs at the time.
The sign is 25 cm in diameter.
