This impressive vintage Oberon tube radio was manufactured in East Germany during the 1950s and is a wonderful example of mid-century European radio design. With its elegant black Bakelite cabinet, beautifully preserved woven speaker cloth, and colorful original tuning dial, it captures the timeless aesthetic of the early post-war era.

The radio remains in splendid vintage condition with all of its original external components intact. It has not been tested and is therefore sold as a decorative collectible. For enthusiasts of vintage electronics, it also offers the possibility of restoration or conversion by fitting a modern Bluetooth or digital radio module inside the original cabinet while preserving its authentic appearance.

Its generous size and striking design make it an outstanding statement piece for a living room, office, café, bar, or mid-century modern interior.
