Beautiful pink elephant stuffed animal made of leather. It is a lovely vintage toy made with great style and precision. The elephant is definitely a very good-looking piece and well-preserved for its age.
The leather is really soft. It doesn't have rips or damage. The eyes are sawed from yarn and are absolutely adorable.
These kinds of toys are definitely rare finds, especially in this condition. It has a manufacturing sticker that reads MORA and the most plausible information I found about it is that is made by the Italian leather company MORA. The modern logo for export products is very similar.
The toy is been cleaned, but there are still some spots on the leather visible in the photos. Probably a deep cleaner for leather will do the job better but with vintage toys, we are cautious with aggressive products.
The pink elephant is 28 cm high, 25 cm from foot to back, and 26 cm wide. It weighs 800 g.
