Vintage German Peasants' War Map, Historical School Chart

A large and beautifully illustrated vintage school roll map depicting the Reformation and the German Peasants’ War of 1525.

The map presents the territories of Central Europe in soft pastel colors, with routes, important locations, battle sites, symbols, and several historical illustrations connected to the events of the period. Its original title is printed in Bulgarian and translates as “The Reformation and the Peasants’ War in Germany.”

Produced in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1974 by the National Institute of Cartography, the map was originally used as a visual teaching aid in a school history classroom. It is printed on paper backed with linen and retains its original black wooden rollers and hanging cord.

This is an authentic vintage educational object with visible traces of age and classroom use, including folds, creases, discoloration, marks, edge wear, and other surface irregularities. These details contribute to its genuine character and history. Please examine all photographs carefully for its exact condition.

With its impressive size and attractive coloring, the map makes a striking wall decoration for a study, library, office, classroom, studio, or history-inspired interior. It would also be a thoughtful gift for a historian, teacher, cartography enthusiast, or collector of vintage educational materials.
