Large Traditional Vintage Painted Wedding Chest, Vintage Painted Trunk

This is a beautiful vintage handmade and hand-painted chest. It is a very typical piece of furniture for the rural parts of Bulgaria. The interesting thing is that every region is having its own style of painted trunks. Usually, these chests were given as present to the newlyweds. One for the bride and one for the groom. Inside these chests were the rest of the gifts for the young couple.

This chest is made of solid wood. On both sides, it has metal handles. The chest is in a good condition with great patina and will make a lovely salon table or a bench.

The trunk is 85 cm long, 33 cm high, and 41 cm deep.

Shipping and packing information:

All products are packed carefully using mostly old boxes and other recycled materials because we care about nature :)

For shipping in Europe, we use mainly DPD and the Postal services. For the US, Australia and other places we also use the Postal services.
We try to send the items as fast as possible. If we go on vacation we extend the time for sending the item, but when we are home we make it a priority to send everything fast :)
