Vintage Soviet Marine Bulkhead Lamp

A rare and unusual vintage marine bulkhead lamp produced in the former USSR for ships of the Black Sea Fleet. This is a distinctive model that we do not encounter very often.

What makes this lamp particularly interesting are the three unusual metal brackets positioned around the body. These adjustable arms were designed to stabilize the fixture when mounted aboard ships, helping to reduce movement caused by vibration and the constant sway at sea. The back of the lamp also features three threaded mounting points, allowing it to be securely attached to a wall or structure.

The lamp is made of painted metal with a thick opal glass diffuser, a construction typical for maritime lighting where durability and reliability were essential. The design is both practical and visually striking, and the original yellow finish gives it a strong industrial and nautical character.
